Costs

Costs are the fifth dimension. The construction costs develop from the cost estimate to the actual invoiced costs of the building.

This dimension is implemented by linking the model elements to items of the bill of quantities in accordance with ÖNORM A 2063-2 or to the construction structure in accordance with ÖNORM B 1801-1. In this way, quantities can be determined without having to write item numbers or construction structure codes into features in a time-consuming and error-prone manner.

Linking the data also ensures that responsibility for the content remains entirely in the respective sphere (e.g. planning - execution). This also makes it possible to continuously monitor and control benchmarks for cost development during the planning phase.

ÖNORM 6241-2 allows the use of the work contract standards to be dispensed with and the net quantities from the specialist models to be used for quantity takeoff. Billing must be carried out in accordance with the same quantity determination rules, as otherwise there would be discrepancies between the tendered and billed quantities.
