The project, which emerged as the winner of a competition in 2022, comprises various educational facilities for FH Campus Wien, Austria's largest university of applied sciences.
The new House of Health Sciences offers space for highly specialised practical and theoretical teaching rooms for applied nursing science and health sciences. With FH Campus Wien as the training provider, 800 additional training places will be created here in the Department of Health Sciences by 2025/26, thus counteracting a major challenge of our time, the shortage of skilled labour in healthcare and nursing.
The project includes a new building for the FH Campus Wien in Favoriten, Vienna, which will house administrative offices, a canteen and a banqueting hall in addition to educational facilities. The building is scheduled to open in autumn 2024.
