Development of data structures for transport infrastructure in the road and rail sector.

The aim of the research project was to develop a data structure for existing and future transport infrastructure structures. This was created by involving the transport infrastructure operators and all their areas and taking existing specifications into account. In addition, all requirements of road and rail systems as well as bridges, tunnels and technical equipment were to be taken into account. In addition, international data structure drafts under development for the correct localisation (spatial reference of structures to route axes) of transport infrastructure structures were analysed and supplemented in detail with the requirements of the clients.
